Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld’s new book “The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s
Classic Revisited” is one of the most inventive and interesting books in recent
fashion history. Lagerfeld is lead designer for fashion house Chanel and has
taken the classic brand to new fashion heights, while staying true to the
classic looks created by the label’s founder, Coco Chanel. In this new photo
book, Lagerfeld and his longtime muse,
Carine Roitfeld, explore many different incarnations of Chanel’s classic
“little black jacket”. They use different actors, models and pop culture
figures to model the classic jacket and create entirely new looks and
landscapes by accessorizing the jacket in different ways using women’s fashion
jewelry and men’s accessories. The look shows the versatility of Lazaro – which
